Dear Church Family,
This week I’m typing this email from Sienna (Houston) TX where all our Divine Savior Academy teachers have gathered for the first ever DSA National Conference. What an incredible opportunity to see and celebrate the blessings of the Lord upon our shared ministry across multiple campuses in two different states and now including the island of Grenada in the Caribbean!
Worship, workshops, and many wonderful conversations that were had here will be a blessing to many as we look to soon begin a new school year. In my role as Coordinator Pastor of the DSC Association I got to give a talk along with Pastor Carlos of Divine Savior Ministries on the Harvest Strategy where we as a church work with the school to connect people to lifelong life in Christ as members of DSC.
And so I’m grateful that this Sunday in Doral, we get to welcome Juan David Escobar back to preach for us one more time this summer. He’ll soon be heading to New York City where he’ll be installed at Sure Foundation Lutheran Church as a vicar for one year before returning to the Seminary for his final year of school before receiving his first full-time call to be a pastor.
So with that I want to welcome you to join us for worship this Sunday at 9:30 am. What a tremendous privilege and blessing to belong together in the kingdom of our dear Savior, Jesus Chrsit and worship HIm! There is a place for you, for me, for us all.

Summer Worship Schedule – The Saturday service will resume again in August. Worship services on Sunday morning will continue as normal in English at 9:30 am and Spanish at 11:30 am. If you’re traveling be sure and stay connected by worshiping with us online through our DSC APP.

Installation Sunday – All new called workers in any area of our Divine Savior campus will be installed in each of our worship services on Sunday, August 3. We will also install our newly elected or new-termed DSC council members. We give thanks to God for the blessings of more people to serve with us in ministry here as we change lives with Jesus!
Refreshments Needed – It’s a blessing to grab a cup of coffee and visit with others after worship each week. It helps us build relationships within our church family and creates an opportunity to meet new people. Our team needs help to do that. Are you willing to help by bringing a snack periodically? Or perhaps consider serving by making coffee and preparing the snacks to serve? Please contact Staff Minister Becky for more info or if you have any questions.
Join a DSC Team – Be part of the teams that support our ministry! We are blessed through YOU and we need volunteers. If you aren’t yet serving on a team or would like to explore additional ways to serve, please click here to learn more about the opportunities that exist for teens through adults. Summer Ready DSC Volunteers – If you already serve on a team, please remember to manage your serving through the DSC app. Block out dates when you will be traveling and choose dates when you can serve.
