Dear Church Family,
This weekend as we continue our series Fix Our Eyes on Jesus, you will hear a message every one of us needs: the relief and peace that comes from knowing Jesus is our once‑for‑all sacrifice. We’ll talk honestly about guilt and shame, the cost of forgiveness, and the incredible truth that God doesn’t demand our blood—He offers His own. And because of Jesus, we can live with a clean conscience, real joy, and the freedom to walk in the life God wants for us.
If you’ve been carrying a lot of heavy stuff this week or just need to rest in God’s grace again (and honestly, who doesn’t?), come lay it all down at the foot of the cross in worship. There’s room for you here. Pastor Grant will be preaching in the bilingual and Spanish services. I’ll be preaching in English. Can’t wait to worship with you and whoever the Lord brings with you to church this weekend!

GROW Continues This Sunday – For those who’ve completed START Class and are ready to keep growing in God’s Word and a life filled with joyful purpose. Meets in the High School Conference Room at 11:00 after worship with Hank Hoenecke leading.
START Class – What does the Bible teach? Participate in Pastor Ben’s START Class to learn the foundational teachings of our Lutheran Christian faith. Prepares you to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion at Divine Savior Church when you’re ready. Helps you know with certainty how Jesus has changed your life! Complete this brief form to express interest in the next class. Childcare available if needed.
Annual Congregational Meeting is Sunday, June – Join us Sunday, June 7th, immediately following each worship service for our DSC Annual Meeting. Grab a cup of coffee and snack and meet us in the commons as we gather together to hear ministry updates, celebrate what God is doing among us, and look ahead to what He can do through us together as a church family in the coming year. ALL are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Summer Worship Schedule change – During the summer we will take a pause from the Saturday Bilingual Service, beginning after May 23 and will resume in August.. Sunday services will continue as normal, with English at 9:30am and Spanish at 11:30. Check out this video from Pastor Caleb with a brief explanation.
Camp South – Registration Open! – Every year, Divine Savior Church takes a group of youth to Camp South, a Bible Camp for youth entering 5th-8th grades. We will also take 9th graders who are in our DSC confirmation class. Kids get to study God’s Word, develop Christian friendships, and grow in their faith. Care & Compassion Ministry: CarePortal Launch – We’re excited to launch CarePortal as part of our Care & Compassion Ministry, creating a new way to serve and support families in our local community. This is a meaningful opportunity to let our light shine through practical acts of Christian love and care. You’ll hear a brief introduction about it and learn how you can be involved after worship this weekend.
Faith & Family Night Continues Wednesday (1 more Wednesdays) – Take the opportunity to refocus and be refreshed this Wednesday at Faith & Family Night! Bible studies are available for adults (English & Spanish), along with DSYouth, DSTeens, and childcare for the little ones. Check out the options in the DSC App → DSC Info → Groups & Classes. Come be encouraged in God’s Word and in community. Let’s grow together in faith, friendship, and God’s love this week.
