Out of Steam? Jesus Sustains.

Dear Church Family,

It’s interesting where our life journeys take us! Often they lead us in directions we never anticipated. But wherever life’s roads may lead, when Jesus is leading the way, we know we’re on a good path. Sometimes though we need Christian encouragement to remember that truth when days of testing come—those days when we feel like we’re spiritually spinning our wheels or we feel like we’re running out of steam. We need God to renew us and sustain us for the long haul. Thankfully that’s what Jesus loves to do for us through his word and sacraments as he meets us where we are at on our journey.

Running out of steam? Join me this Sunday at 9:30 am as we continue our series The Journey and to be renewed and sustained by our Savior who loves us. Share our series promo video and invite a friend to begin their journey with us!

DSC English Group Open Forum:

First of all, thank you to everyone who attended the open forum last Sunday after church to discuss our English service worship space and times. It was a large group and I greatly appreciated your feedback!

In case you missed it, here is a pdf of the document I handed out which served as the basis for our conversation. It consists of five causes for action, four of our church’s core values that I think are most pertinent to the discussion, and three different possible courses of action. Please take a look and feel free to share your feedback with me.

I talked us through the document and led the discussion. At the end of each section we stopped for comments, questions, and feedback from anyone in attendance. Thank you to secretary Marcus Spiegelberg for capturing the comments and feedback that you can also read here.
