Come Worship in Our New Church This Sunday!

Dear Church Family,

Thy Kingdom Come. This is a prayer for Jesus to change hearts and lives through the gospel. We pray that Jesus would do this in our new Worship and Ministry Center.

That’s why I’m so excited to share that THIS SUNDAY will be our first Sunday worshiping together in our new church!

That’s right, this afternoon around 4:00 pm, we received our TCO giving us permission to officially move in and begin worshiping together as a church family. Praise Jesus!

But we could still use some extra help. Tomorrow (Saturday) is a busy day with Birthday for Jesus all morning. Then at 3:00 pm our regularly scheduled set-up team is coming.

So if any of you are available, would you be willing to also show up at 3:00 and help our set-up team tomorrow (Saturday)? We would greatly appreciate it! We have packaging to remove from our new chairs, move some things from the Commons, put some bookshelves together, and a take care of a few extra things in order to be ready to go for Sunday worship and the week ahead. Oh, and did I mention we have a grand piano to move onto the stage? (Who are our strongest members???) So if you can come and lend a hand, please let Becky know through email or text at 786-477-9739.

Birthday for Jesus

Serving Opportunity:On Saturday, December 9 we will be hosting an outreach event for families with children ages 3 through 5th grade in our community. In the past we’ve had many families join us that are not yet part of our church. It’s a great opportunity to point to Jesus and allow people to get to know our family in Christ. There are many opportunities for volunteers of all ages! Invite a friend or neighbor to attend or be part of the volunteer team for the event! If you have any questions, please contact Janette Schultz.

Attend with your children ages 3 years old through 5th grade: Don’t you love birthday parties? Come celebrate the birth of Jesus – the best birthday ever! We’ve created this free event designed specifically for families with children ages 3 through 5th grade. Parents, we want you to experience this event together with your children – especially at Christmas! Divine Savior Church values your family unit and wants to offer you opportunities to grow together. Grandparents are also welcome! Saturday, December 9. Check in at 9:45am. Clickhere to register.

Baby Bottle Campaign– If you took a baby bottle as part of our campaign earlier this month, please bring it to church with you and place it in the labeled basket as you enter for worship. Deadline for collection is this Sunday, Dec 10. Thank you for participating! We will return them to Grace Women’s Care Center.Miami Dade County has one of the highest abortion rates in the nation. As Christians we want to protect life and there is an opportunity for you to protect the life of the unborn. This Christian organization in Miami provides counseling, ultrasounds, and Scriptural advice to women who find themselves with an unexpected pregnancy.
