The Sign of Immanuel

Dear Church Family,

Have you ever asked God for a sign? Did he deliver? Jesus taught us to pray: “Thy Kingdom come.” He wants us to see the signs of his kingdom fulfilled. The sign of his holy Word preserved throughout millennia. The sign of water combined with that Word of God in holy Baptism. The sign of the most fulfilling feast laid out upon his table in holy Communion. These are the signs that remind us that God remains “Immanuel” – God with us.

The Lord, through Isaiah, gave one of his most treasured promises at a time of complete and utter chaos, political turmoil, and tremendous fears. The promise of “Immanuel” still provides comfort for us today!

Join us for worship in our new worship space this Sunday at 9:30 am as we conclude our Advent series “Thy Kingdom Come.” There will also be a couple baptisms and a new member welcome for those who’ve completed Grow Class!
