Dear Church Family,
Track season started again this week here in beautiful South Florida. Our DSA team has some great coaches.
No matter what the sport, all great coaches have some things in common. They know what they’re talking about. They care about the details. They care about the athletes as individuals. They observe them, watch them, listen to them. They teach them. They motivate them. They hold them accountable. They encourage them to learn from failure, to work together as a team, to have grit, to grow, and to give their all using their God-given gifts and abilities.
Those with the humility to accept a coach’s instructions and encouragements will grow in their abilities. Those who think they know better will struggle, get angry, and perhaps even quit.
Thankfully, Jesus is so much more than a coach. He is our God – our Savior who gave his life to redeem us! So when he teaches and instructs us like a coach, we want to open our ears to listen to his Word and to put his words into practice. As Jesus instructs us with stories and illustrations, he asks us to listen carefully. His Word will work. When we are patient, he brings about amazing results from the words he speaks.
So join us this Sunday as we listen to Jesus teach us in Mark 4. “Whoever has ears to hear, let them hear” (Mark 4:9).

Ash Wednesday February 14 –Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent, a time when we walk with Jesus to the cross to see the extent of his love that paid for every imperfect thought, word, and action. Join us for a special Ash Wednesday bilingual worship service at 5:00 pm or 7:00 pm.
All Pro Dad – Any dads and their kids who are in Kindergarten through 6th grade can team up with other dads and kids at our school once a month for All Pro Dad! We meet before school from 7:00-8:00 AM in the high school commons for a free breakfast and a character based-curriculum that helps dads start meaningful conversations with their kids. First Impression Team Opportunities Have you noticed how God is growing our church? We have been blessed with more and more people attending worship services in person each week which has created new opportunities! Our Usher, Greeter, and Refreshment Teams are looking for more volunteers to meet the needs of our growing family in Christ. How might you be able to serve? Leaders of each team provide training as necessary. If you are willing or have questions about any of these teams, please reach out to Staff Minister Becky.
