Dear Church Family,
How many of us easily buy into the thinking, “If you’re not first, you’re last.” But the Kingdom of God flips this thinking around! Jesus turns the ways of the world upside down – which is so good for us. We need Jesus’ revelation and teaching to help us with this. Worldly wisdom takes us the opposite direction and we’ll never finish the race without God’s Word. Jesus guides us in understanding what is truly valuable and important to pursue with eagerness and urgency.
Please join me this Sunday as I get to share and apply this teaching of Jesus couched in Mark 10:17-52.

Pastor Ben Has a Call: Last week I received a divine call to serve as an associate pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Burnsville, MN, which is a bedroom community of the Twin Cities. There is a church and a school that work together in their ministry there. As always, a call like this is not something one seeks out. Rather, it is an opportunity to prayerfully consider and receive counsel as to where God’s people think one’s gifts can best be used in service of the Lord. So I invite any and all feedback you wish to share, and certainly your prayers.
