Hope so often disappoints us because we put our hope in things that have no root in reality. “I hope to win the lottery.” “I hope my spouse will suddenly turn into the perfect life companion.” True hope is based in fact. Christmas brings hopes fulfilled because Christmas rests in the fact that God made a promise and he kept that promise.
