Imagine the gut wrenching turmoil Joseph went through as he tried to wrap his mind around the news that his fiancé was pregnant. Talk about dashed hopes and worst fears! In his compassion, the Lord appears to Joseph in a dream and sets it all straight. The Lord won’t always do that same kind of thing for us. But he knows what we need most and he will find a way to meet that need.
