On our confirmation day we can’t help but be pumped. We feel like our faith is ready for anything. Yet, experience teaches us that there will be days of testing, when we wonder, “Is this really the Jesus I fell in love with?” It’s hard to be a light for Jesus at those times. If we want to want to make a difference on this journey, it’s imperative that we stay personally connected with Jesus through his Word and Sacraments.
