Church Picnic and Amazing Race: This Sunday, Jan 12 at 12:30 pm after the Spanish service. Come be part of the fun. All are welcome! We will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, and plates, cups, etc. Please bring a side dish (salads, veggies, fruits, …) or dessert to share. The Fellowship Team has some activities planned after we eat- another DSC Amazing Race! These activities are meant for all ages and ability levels. Sign up before the service to participate, and be sure to wear / bring a set of clothes for activities. Click here for more info.
Shelter Donation Food Drive: Thank you for contributing to our collection of non perishable foods that we collected during Jingle & Mingle en Navidad, our DSC family Christmas party. However, many of you told us that you forgot your donation and we also know some of you were traveling. Please consider bringing something this weekend to one of our worship services or the picnic so we can increase our collection and serve others! Any kind of non perishable food is welcome – canned or boxed goods that are not expired. A collection box will be located near the church kitchen or outside at the picnic. Open Forum: On Sunday, Jan 26 at 1:30 pm after the Spanish service we will be having a church open forum in the auditorium where we will present a Worship / Arts Center update and discuss options for moving our ministry forward. If you call Divine Savior Church your home, we hope you are able to attend this important open forum.
Spiritual Growth Opportunities: Stay tuned next week for a new menu of opportunities to grow spiritually this winter season through Connect Groups and Bible Classes. A Connect Group is a small group gathering of around 8-10 people that provides a safe place to connect with others, share life, and grow in faith together. A Bible Class a small or large group gathering designed to be more of an academic setting in order to deepen knowledge in the Bible or another relevant topic.
Starting Point Class: Is the first step for anyone who would like to learn more about God, find out what the Bible says, or pursue becoming a member of Divine Savior Church. The current class will continue this coming Tue, Jan 14. I would like to start a new Starting Point class on Tuesday evenings beginning Mar 3. If you’re interested in participating in the upcoming March class, or if you have any questions, please send me a quick email.

DSC Welcome Mugs: We want visitors to feel welcome into our church family! One of the ways we can do that is by pastor personally greeting each of the 1st time visitors at worship and offering them a gift. You can help! Be part of our Buy one, GIVE one program! For $7 you will receive your own DSC mug and allow us to give one to a visitor. We hope you enjoy your mug and the opportunity to welcome others! Click here to participate!
