Putting the Devil Out of Work

Dear Church Family,

It’s a striking headline: 10 million workers file jobless claims in just over two weeks.

That’s a staggering loss of employment. That’s unprecedented financial devastation for many people.

Here’s another striking headline: The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work (1 John 3:8b).

In other words, Jesus Christ came to put the devil out of a job! He came to undo the devastation of sin forever and for good!

That’s why I’m inviting you to once again please join me online this weekend for worship. This weekend we celebrate Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week. As we wrap up our Unhooked series we will rejoice to see Jesus as the One who came to destroy the devil’s lures and set us free forever.

Worship live with us online at either of our normal weekend service times:

Saturday at 5:00 pm
Sunday at 9:30 am
