Dear Church Family,
There is a book I remember from when I was a little boy. It’s called “Where the Wild Things Are.” Any of you remember it? The book captured my imagination with pictures of strange, scary looking, fantastic beasts. Those images made such an impression on me that I can still picture them 30+ years later.
In a similar way, in Daniel chapter seven we’re going to see visions God gave Daniel filled with strange, scary looking, fantastic beasts. What he saw made such an impression on him that his face went pale. Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall.
But at the same time Daniel saw something supremely comforting—that God’s kingdom would never end! The Ancient of Days will sit on the throne. The Son of Man is coming on the clouds of heaven. Jesus will win the day!
We experience this in part now. Because of Jesus we are safe in God’s hands. But God promises that we will experience this fully one day in His presence. Until then we have God’s promise that no matter how out of control life seems from our perspective, He is in control—even in control of the very things that rise in opposition to Him.
Please join me this weekend as we continue our series “There’s Another in the Fire” and study through Daniel chapter 7:1-14. To watch live with others simply CLICK HERE either on Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday at 9:30 am.

Communion: Dear members, this weekend I am again providing time slots for groups of 10 or less who register ahead of time to come to church to hear a brief devotion and receive the sacrament. I will wear a mask and use hand sanitizer before each group. We will practice social distancing. I will have the communion elements carefully placed apart for each individual communicant to take their own wafer and cup of wine on their own as I direct them. Use this form to register for a time slot on Saturday evening at 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, or 7:30 pm. Use this form to register for a time slot on Sunday at 12:00 pm, 12:30 pm, 1:00 pm, or 1:30 pm.
Alternatively, I would be happy to schedule a time for me to commune you privately upon request. Please contact me directly to discuss.
