Gathering Together Around the Truth

Dear Church Family,

Eleven weeks. That’s how long it’s been since we last met together for worship in person! Seems even longer than that, doesn’t it?

The NBA suspended its season on March 11 and by March 18 for midweek Lent services, we quickly pivoted to online only church. I am very proud of our team that we all made the transition in about one week’s time. We did what we needed to when we needed to. And we definitely learned along the way. We prayed for God to bless our efforts. And he did! More people than ever before have been connecting with our church and learning about Jesus online.

At the same time we look forward to beginning phase one of reopening church for in-person services again this weekend. We’ve been working hard this week to clean our worship space and chairs, put up special signage, set up seating for social distancing, get volunteers, and support the best online worship experience we can for those who aren’t able or not yet ready to return to church in person.

13 I have much to write you, but I do not want to do so with pen and ink. 14 I hope to see you soon, and we will talk face to face (3 John 13-14).

Please join me this weekend whether in person or online as we celebrate the blessing of gathering around the truth of Jesus and his word. To watch live online simply click here either on Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday at 9:30 am. Quick note: If you watch on Sunday at 9:30 am you will be watching the recorded video from our Saturday service.

To attend in person this weekend you need to register with this form. Registration will close when we reach full capacity. If you find that the service is already at full capacity, please join us online. You can expect us to follow the things outlined in our Phase 1 Plan, and we kindly ask you to also follow those guidelines. If you missed my special video message, here it is
