Dear Church Family,
Are we sometimes obsessed with the need for human approval? Whether it is your parents, peers, friends or strangers, it is easy to live a life solely devoted to trying to impress others. In the book of Judges we learn that a man named Barak had the same problem that we all have today. So, what do you expect for what you do? Do you expect praise from others or are you trying to please your Father in heaven? Knowing our true identity in Jesus will give us the solution to our struggles of trying to impress others. We can step up and exercise servant leadership when we find our security in Christ.
I’d love to have you join me this weekend as we study Judges chapter 4 continuing our series Messy People, Merciful God! To attend in person this weekend whether on Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday at 9:30 am please register with this form ahead of time.

DSYouth: All middle and high school students – join us at church this Friday, October 2 from 6:00-8:30 pm. We hope to see you there in person – if not, you can participate virtually too! Weekly Offerings: Last week: $7,596.00 | Needed weekly to meet FY ’20-’21 budget: $9,106.96 | Any offerings above our weekly budget will go towards our building fund.
Equipping Christian Witnesses – is the name of a campaign to raise funds in support of our vital ministry partner, Martin Luther College (MLC). Please watch the video I made for more info about this opportunity to give. Currently $4,710.00 has been contributed towards our goal of $20,000. We’re 24% toward our goal so we are extending the opportunity through mid-October in order to give more people time to participate. Thank you to those who’ve already contributed!
