Dear Church Family,
Should you worship even when you don’t feel like it?
Yes, and if only for this reason…because Jesus is worthy! But truly also because only His love can satisfy the aching sadness in our hearts. Only His love can set us free from our Samson-like self-centeredness. Only His love can transform our dreary days into a lifetime filled with purpose and praise and answered prayers. Only in His presence will our fears fade away and instead we might actually find a settling kind of peace.
Won’t you join me this weekend as we worship Christ the King—the only one qualified to do the job of Savior?
“To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.” (Revelation 1:5b-6)

To watch DSA chapel services visit our chapel YouTube channel. This week I got to lead Elementary and ECE chapel and talk about how Jesus wants us to show love to all people, even when it’s hard. DSKids: We invite all children ages 3 to 3rd grade to join us this Sunday for our in-person DSKids Sunday morning program. We will continue on our quest to find fantastic verses of the Bible from Bible heroes to bury deep in our hearts and learn Bible stories that tell us more about these verses. Simply stop by our DSKids table outside the church doors on your way into worship and we’ll get your child checked in and ready to join us. See you Sunday!
Church Family: Your church family is here to pray for you and care for you in Christian love. If you are ill, having surgery, facing hardship, etc… please let us know. Staff Minister Becky helps coordinate this care and compassion for you as part of our family. And if you would like to be part of our DSC Care & Compassion Team, please reach out to Becky.
