Year-Long Reading Plan
Long ago, Magi (aka “wise men”) from the East went on a journey following a star to find and worship Christ. Today wise people still seek Him. We don’t find Him by following a star. We find him by following the guidance of God’s Word in the Bible that still shines brightly into our lives. That’s why I’m inviting you to take a Bible journey with me starting tomorrow, January 6, on the day of Epiphany using a year-long reading plan that takes just 15 minutes a day!
Let’s Dig Into God’s Word… Together
You’re invited to join me in The One Year Bible Reading Plan, a year-long Scripture reading journey that you can take with me and your DSC family. Join in the plan using the Bible app by YouVersion where you can select whatever language you prefer. Each day, you’ll read a section of Scripture and get an opportunity to join in the discussion about the reading. Throughout the plan, I’ll also share videos from the The Bible Project to help you understand what you’ve read. The One Year Bible reading plan is one I’ve used for many years now. It has allowed me to read the entire Bible multiple times over. What I love about it is that every day there is a reading from the Old Testament and the New Testament, a Psalm, and a Proverb. This way you avoid getting stuck all alone in Leviticus!
Reading Plan
Here’s what you need to do to get into the plan:
1) If you haven’t already, download the Bible app by YouVersion on your phone or tablet. Or, you can go to bible.com to get into the program on your computer.
2) Create an account on YouVersion if you don’t have one. You just need an email address, and they’ll send you an email to confirm your account.
3) Click here to find a personal invitation to join me in reading The One Year Bible plan that I’ve set to begin on January 6. This will open up a screen that tells you I’m inviting you to join my plan.
4) Accept my invite to the plan by clicking “Accept Invitation”. Then, from now on when you go into the app or to the bible.com website, you’ll see The One Year Bible plan listed under your plans (the check mark icon).
5) FYI – You are welcome to share this invitation link for anyone else to join. We can have up to 150 in our reading group!
6) If you’d like to read along buy don’t want to use the Bible app, just let me know and I can share with you the readings each week.
