A Word That Gives Peace

Dear Church Family,

How do you handle feelings of guilt or shame? Do you cover them up? Do you hide them? Do you try and compensate by trying harder to be good in the eyes of others? Depending on who you ask, there are many different ways to handle such feelings. But Jesus gives us the best way. It’s really the only way to move forward with true peace. And it comes from the third word Jesus said from the cross, “Today, you will be with me in paradise.” I can’t wait to share this amazing word with you this weekend!

Journey to the Cross – On Sunday, March 21 we will be hosting one of the biggest outreach events our church family does all year, Journey to the Cross. In 2019 we had many visitors attend and love the experience. It is a multisensory experience and lots of fun to be part of it! We have many opportunities for volunteers of all ages! If you would like to find out how you or your entire family can help, please contact Janette Schultz.

Easter Weekend: We would like to show hospitality to any guests from our community on Easter weekend both for the Saturday and Sunday Easter services. There is an opportunity for volunteers to bring refreshments! We could also use more volunteers on the regular Sunday Refreshment Team. Would you be willing to help with either one? Please contact Kate Londono for details.

Giving: To give electronically simply follow this link to go to our secure giving page, or click Give at the bottom of the new church app. You can make one-time gifts or set up automatic giving as well.

Church Offerings Update: Last weekend: $12,775.20 | February: 11,107.31/ wk. Thank you, everyone, for your generous giving last month! This is the level of giving we are praying to see which will enable us to move forward with building our new church well and then doing ministry well in it so that more lives can be changed by the gospel of Jesus. As we discussed at our congregational update last weekend, final design decisions regarding our building project are going to be made soon and our giving over the next two months will play a large role in what we are able to accomplish together for the sake of the gospel. Again, thank you for your ongoing generosity and support!
