Dear Church Family,
We believe that the same Jesus who ascended into heaven will return in all his glory to judge the world. Once and for all, he will reveal and publicly vindicate all those who are true believers.
As believers in Christ, we prepare for and eagerly await his second coming. We don’t know all the details, but trust that he’s coming back. What peace and purpose this gives—today and always in Christ alone!
Please join me this weekend for worship as we conclude our study of the second article of The Apostles’ Creed looking at the words: From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. Join us in-person or online whether Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday morning at 9:30 am.
This Sunday morning during our service we will also celebrate the installation of 7 new called workers who will be serving in our Divine Savior Academy. Therefore, we will also be livestreaming our Sunday morning service for all who might wish to watch the installation from around the country.

WELS Synod Convention – This week I had the privilege of serving our South Atlantic District as a virtual delegate to our church body’s national convention. I was appointed as a member of the world missions / joint mission council committee. For me this meant attending as a voting member via Zoom on Monday-Wednesday this week. Others from our ministry also attended as delegates both in-person and virtually as well. I would be happy to answer any questions anyone might have. Especially from a missions perspective it was encouraging to hear about the gospel work we get to do together around the world.
