Dear Church Family,
It’s here! Baptism Sunday – a celebration of God’s free gift of his grace when, through water and the word, he washes away our sins and adopts us into his family!
Please join us this Sunday morning January 23 at 10:30 am in the high school gym for a special bilingual service as we welcome people into God’s family and our Divine Savior family with us through Baptism.
Note: There is no Saturday evening service this weekend. Everyone is invited to the 10:30 am service on Sunday in the high school gym. There will be DSKids during the service.
Immediately following the service we are planning a lunch and fellowship activities. The Fellowship Team will be preparing some fun activities to help us connect with one another during lunch. All are welcome!
Please consider how you can serve to fill the many needs we have for this event on the needs request. There are still many opportunities for you (teens and adults) to serve in the set up on Saturday and at the event.

No Revelation Bible Study This Sunday: We will meet again next week on January 30 from 11:00-11:50 am in the high school commons.
DSYouth – Today, Friday, January 21, from 6:00-8:30 pm, all students in middle or high school (beginning with grade 6 through 12th grade) are welcome to join us for DSYouth! Enjoy Bible study, fun games and make a few new friends. Meet at church. Parents, if you have a child participating for the 1st TIME ever in DSYouth, please fill out the parent consent and student registration. Click here for English.
Mommy & Me: Our next session is Monday, January 24 from 8:45 – 10:00 am. Enjoy a fun morning with your little one where you can connect with others through storytime, music & movement, and play! Children from birth to age 4 and Mommy or caregiver welcome! FREE! If you would like to participate and have not yet registered this year, please click here to register.
Read the Bible in 2022. Click here to accept an invite from Pastor Ben to join him and others from our church family in reading through and commenting on the Bible this year using the YouVersion Bible app. The plan started January 11 but you are still welcome to jump in and join us any time wherever we are at.
DSC Family Soccer Day: Next Sunday, January 30, join us on our campus athletic field for an afternoon of fun with your family! We will begin shortly after the Spanish worship service, about 1:00pm. All ages can participate and the little ones can play in the park. Bring a snack to share, we will provide water. Divine Savior Church Association – This past week Monday and Tuesday we had enjoyable and productive meetings at our Delray Beach campus with all our church pastors and association staff. We set a ten year target with strategic goals that we pray God will bless. Stay tuned for communication about this in the future as we work to position ourselves for growth and increased collaboration to ultimately share the gospel with more people.
Pastors’ Conference – This coming week Monday – Tuesday, Pastor Caleb and I will be in Sarasota attending our yearly conference with other WELS pastors from around Florida. Professor Thomas Nass from MLC will be leading us through a study of the Hebrew text of the prophet Joel. In addition there were be reports of the work going on in our synod, worship, and time to connect with other pastors.
