Weekend Update: Worship and a Big Decision!

Dear Church Family,

The disciples wanted a Savior who was going to bring power and rule with authority. Since they were Jesus’ loyal followers, they thought they should of course have access to some special places next to Jesus where they would have some power as well. If we’re honest, isn’t that the Savior we want by nature too—a powerful one who will bring us earthly power, influence, money, or success? The problem? That’s not the Savior we actually need. We need a Savior who would be a servant and give his life as a ransom for many. We need a Savior who would save us by suffering and dying for us.

Join us this weekend for worship whether on Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday at 9:30 am as we continue our series The Jesus I Need.

A quick note: If you’re coming for worship on Sunday morning, please consider parking in the lots west or north of the high school since we have our voters’ meeting afterwards and we want to help make sure there’s enough parking for the Spanish service attendees.

A Big Decision! Special Voters Meeting – This Sunday, March 27 after the service we will have a meeting for our voting members in the high school commons to decide upon going forward with building our proposed Worship and Ministry Center. The agenda is being sent out by our Church President, Luis Herrera, to our members.
