Dear Church Family,
Imagine having to pay back your debt to society… having to make up for everything you have ever done wrong. That would be frustrating and exhausting, wouldn’t it? The book of Leviticus shows us just how endlessly exhausting it would be, and how many sacrifices it would take. But Leviticus wasn’t put in the Bible to exhaust you or discourage you from continuing your Bible reading plan! It was put there to powerfully show you God’s solution for all we owe. In a beautiful and dramatic way, Leviticus shows us how receive rest from all that haunts us. Right in the center of this book we see Jesus! And once you see Him there, you will never be able to miss Him. Jesus is the G.O.A.T (greatest of all time) Savior!
Join me this Sunday at 9:30 am as we continue our series We Want to See Jesus by learning about the Day of Atonement (i.e. Yom Kippur) recorded in Leviticus 16 and something called “the scapegoat.” And some more good news… you get an extra hour of sleep this weekend!
Fall Back – Don’t forget it’s time to fall back this Sunday. Daylight Saving Time ends at 2:00 am Sunday morning. Make sure to turn your clocks back one hour before going to bed Saturday night.
