Dear Church Family,
The day after Thanksgiving, if you’re like me you are being bombarded with ads designed to make you feel like there is a deal you can’t afford to miss, some treasure even that you cannot live without. There’s a certain rush in hunting for the best deals and in the process discovering things you didn’t know even existed.
But what if our most valuable treasure here on earth has been sitting under our noses without us even realizing it? I am talking about the Bible. The Word of God with which he reveals himself and his good news to us!
This Sunday as we continue our series We Want to See Jesus, we’ll learn about an Old Testament king who discovered this lost treasure and it changed his life. Join me, bring a friend, and find out how God intends to use his Word to also change yours. A special choir of our members will be singing a Thanksgiving song of praise to thank God in our busy world for all his blessings. We will also celebrate Holy Communion.

Birthday for Jesus
Serving Opportunity:
On Saturday, December 10 we will be hosting an outreach event for families called Birthday for Jesus with children ages 3 through 5th grade in our community. In the past we’ve had many families join us that are not yet part of our church. It’s a great opportunity to point to Jesus and allow people to get to know our family in Christ. There are many opportunities for volunteers of all ages! If you would like to find out how you or your entire family can help, please contact Janette Schultz.

Don’t you love birthday parties? Come celebrate the birth of Jesus – the best birthday ever! We’ve created this free event designed just for families with children ages 3 through 5th grade. Parents are welcome to accompany them and join in the fun or drop off their child(ren). Saturday, December 10 at 9:00am. We will end the birthday party with a special presentation for the parents at 11:30am. Click here to register.
