Dear Church Family,
This Sunday we will continue our study of Matthew chapter 5. We’ll wrap up our series New Year New You by seeing how our relationship with God cannot help but impact our relationships with others—especially those who share our faith. And then we’ll also get to celebrate Holy Communion together as a church family—to receive God’s forgiveness and to affirm the oneness we have in Jesus Christ who has reconciled us to God and each other.

Pastor Steve and Pastor Caleb Have Calls – Pastor Steve is currently holding a call to Pan de Vida Lutheran Church in Santa, Ana California. And Pastor Caleb is holding a call to Trinity Lutheran Church in Kiel, WI. Please keep them in your prayers and pass along to them your encouragement!
Creating Family Memories – Family Sports Day – Come this Sunday, Jan 29th and create some memories with your family at Divine Savior! Choose from a variety of sports for all ages (little ones can be on the playground) or just enjoy time connecting with others. We will meet around 1:00 pm, after the Spanish service. New START Class with Pastor Ben – What does the Bible teach? Participate in START class. This class led by Pastor Ben studies the foundational teachings of the Christian faith using the Bible. Participating in this class will also prepare you to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion at Divine Savior Church when you’re ready. START class is also the first step to becoming a member of our church family. Begins Sunday, February 12 from 11:00-12:30 pm after church. We’ll meet after church for 7 Sundays in a row after that. We will share exciting goals and an updated vision for our ministry here at Divine Savior Church, Doral. This gives us direction as we go forward together to carry out the mission of our church using the gifts with which He’s blessed us. We will also have crucial information and updates regarding the building project of the new worship and ministry center. Your participation is important as part of our church family as we discuss those plans, options, and share the joy in serving together to change lives with Jesus.
