Dear Church Family,
Have you experienced generosity? You have! We have all experienced the generosity of a gracious, loving, amazing God! We have experienced his generosity in creation, in how he provides for us, in how he has saved us and shown us mercy.
But not only do we get to experience his generosity with the blessings he gives to us… we get to experience his generosity as we show that same generosity to others! We get to experience what it’s like to be generous. All we have belongs to him in the first place. We get to experience giving generously like God has with us when we show generosity with the things he is allowing us to use and enjoy. Join us as we begin our new series Experiencing Generosity this Sunday and consider the words of Psalm 145.

New START Class with Pastor Ben – What does the Bible teach? Participate in START class. This class led by Pastor Ben studies the foundational teachings of the Christian faith using the Bible. Participating in this class will also prepare you to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion at Divine Savior Church when you’re ready. START class is also the first step to becoming a member of our church family. Begins next Sunday, February 12 from 11:00-12:30 pm after church. Congregational Update – All are welcome to join us this Sunday, Feb 5 in the high school music room immediately following our 9:30 am worship service. We will share exciting goals and an updated vision for our ministry here at Divine Savior Church, Doral. This gives us direction as we go forward together to carry out the mission of our church using the gifts with which He’s blessed us. We will also have crucial information and updates regarding the building project of the new worship and ministry center. Your participation is important as part of our church family as we discuss those plans, options, and share the joy in serving together to change lives with Jesus.

Read The Bible With Us – 15 minutes a day | Jump in with our year-long Bible reading plan as a church. Each day, read a section of Scripture and join in the discussion about the reading if you want. Click here to join using the YouVersion Bible app. So far 50 people have joined the reading plan!
DSYouth – Middle and high school students, you’re invited to join us for some games, some Bible study, and lots of fun on Friday, Feb 3 at DSYouth! 6:00-8:00 pm. Come to the high school entrance.
Building Project Progress Updates – Just click “connect” at the bottom menu of our DSC app and you will see an option for “Worship and Ministry Center”. Find photos, videos, and up-to-date construction updates.
Church Picnic? – In the past we’ve enjoyed a yearly picnic for our entire church family and are thankful for the Fellowship Team who has spearheaded it. However, this team is currently without a leader. If you are interested in serving to help organize a picnic, please contact Staff Minister Becky.
