Dear Church Family,
All are invited to join us for Welcome Back Sunday as we begin a new sermon series on the book of Proverbs – Pursuing the Path of Wisdom. The reason we’re doing this is because the world we live in today is so confusing right now, isn’t it?
It’s an incredible time to be alive in many ways. We have amazing technology at our fingertips. We have super computers (aka smartphones) in our pockets. We live in the digital information age. Emerging technologies like generative artificial intelligence are transforming society. But even though we are surrounded by so much knowledge, flooded with so much information, and we have so much technology, we need to ask an important question… do we have wisdom? And if not, how do we get it? What is the source of wisdom in this world and how do we learn to live well this life?
Join us this Sunday at 9:30 am for worship at church as we take a journey together down the path of pursuing wisdom for daily life in this modern world. This is a great opportunity to also invite someone to attend with you. Plant a gospel seed, make an invitation, and let God’s Spirit go to work!
ICYMI – Watch the sermon from this past Sunday as we finished our Disciples series studying Matthew 16:13-18 and talking about Simon Peter.
DSYouth for Middle and High School Students: Join us on TONIGHT, September 8 from 6:00-8:00 pm if you’re a Middle School or High school student for DSYouth!
