Dear Church Family,
Some athletes are simply incredible. When they compete, you can’t help but stare in awe and wonder at the strength they exert, the focus on their task, the abilities with which they have been blessed, and what they are able to accomplish. It tells you something about their origin, their work ethic, their determination, and you wonder what drives them so hard.
In an even greater way, you can’t help but stare in awe and wonder at Jesus’ miraculous power. It is amazing! As he is determined to use that amazing power to help people in need, he shows his determination to continue to help people with their greatest need.
That’s what we’ll see this Sunday as Jesus as Pastor Caleb continues our study of the gospel of Mark 1:21-45. See you at church!
ICYMI – Watch my sermon from last Sunday introducing our new series Race to the Cross based on Mark 1:1-20.

DSYouth: Our next DSYouth session is today, Jan 12! We study the Bible together, pray together, and talk about how we live as followers of Jesus in our world. There are usually some games and snacks each time we meet. Our motto is “Disciples of Christ, Stronger Together. Join us from 6:00-8:00pm! We’ll meet in the new Worship and Ministry Center. Click here for the required Parent Consent and here for Student Registration. (You only need to do this once this year.) If you’re the parent of a Middle School or High School student, you are invited to join our parent group that meets during this time. We hope to see you there!

Getting to Know Our New Worship and Ministry Center:
Main Entrance/Parking:
You may park anywhere on campus. As you enter for worship on Sundays, please use our Main Entrance for Worship. This is located at the entrance facing 104th Ave. You will see new WELCOME letters marking the entrance to our lobby. As you invite guests, please also direct them to meet you here. The space is designed for you to find information about our ministry to use for yourself or as resources to share with others. Ushers will direct you, greeters will welcome you and there is a station for DSKids registration. If you have small children that need to move around during the service, the lobby provides a place to do so. Eventually we will have a screen and speakers there to hear/see everything that is going on in the service. After the service you can enjoy coffee, refreshments, and an opportunity to connect with your church family inside or out.
Quiet Room:
The small private chapel at the rear of the Worship Space is reserved for moms who wish to breastfeed their babies. There will be a screen installed later with the live service being played. Toddlers who need to move are welcome to use the lobby. During the week this will serve as a quiet place to pray and open hours will be communicated.
Bathrooms:
There are two options: the high school commons and the newly renovated bathrooms outside the private chapel, facing 58th Street.
Lounge:
This room connected to the side of the Worship Space is reserved for meeting our first time visitors after worship. During the week we use it for small group Bible studies or meetings.
Ministry Center Reception:
Our Ministry Center Reception is located in the part of the building facing 58th Street. You can enter here during the week to meet with our pastors, DSC staff, for Bible studies, small groups, or meetings. All of our offices and conference room is connected to this.
