Dear Church Family,
No one likes to lose. No matter how much our competitive nature drives us, we still prefer to win. But sometimes you win… by losing. If you want to follow Jesus, you have to lose to win. You have to give up your life, i.e. “lose” it so to speak, for Jesus to ultimately save your life for eternity. What could this possibly mean? Join us this Sunday for worship as we explore an incredibly important section of Mark’s gospel in Mark 8:22-9:1. We’ll learn what it looks like and why it’s worth it to be disciples of Jesus, taking up our own crosses, just as Jesus denied himself to take up his own cross for us all.
“For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me and for the gospel will save it” (Mark 8:35).

All Pro Dad– Any dads and their kids who are in Kindergarten through 6th grade can team up with other dads and kids at our school once a month for All Pro Dad! We meet before school from 7:00-8:00 AM in the high school commons for a free breakfast and a character based-curriculum that helps dads start meaningful conversations with their kids.
