Stand Firm with Your Shepherds

Dear Church Family,

As sheep, we are prone to wander. We need a Shepherd over us and we need to shepherd one another. Let’s follow our shepherds, pray for them, and encourage them. We are all serving The Shepherd who gave his life for us. So we humble ourselves, but God will exalt us! There is no safer place in the universe than in God’s hands – so let’s cast all our cares on Him. We need His protection – the enemy is real! But we are safe with God. Forever. The world can take away everything… but it cannot take our identity or our future. So stand firm in that living hope! And look forward to what Jesus is coming back to do for you!

Join me this Sunday at 9:30 am as we gather together for worship as God’s people. I’ll be finishing our message series as we study and apply God’s word found in 1 Peter 5.

No START Class This Sunday: due to the annual meeting taking place after church

Annual Meeting – This Sunday, June 2, plan to attend our DSC Annual Meeting and hear important congregational updates, elections of new council members, and fiscal year plans. Grab a cup of coffee and gather together in the high school commons. Your participation is important to us as we carry out our mission to change lives with Jesus!

Camp South – Every year, Divine Savior Church takes a group of youth to Camp South, a Bible Camp for youth entering 5th-8th grades. We will also take 9th graders who are in our DSC confirmation class. At Camp, kids get to study God’s Word, develop Christian friendships, and grow in their faith. Camp South takes place in Covington, Georgia from July 22-26th, 2024. Check out the 2023 Camp South video here to see what camp is like. Registration for Camp South is open. Find all the info and registration link on the Divine Savior Church app home page (Doral campus). We also need chaperones for Camp South. All travel and registration costs for chaperones are covered, and it’s a lot of fun! Any questions? We are especially in need of male chaperones. Talk to Pastor Caleb.

Summer Volunteers – If you serve on any volunteer teams, please go to MyDSC to block out dates you will be traveling to avoid scheduling conflicts.
