Dear Church Family,
We want to make disciples who make disciples. Why? Because when Jesus commanded his church to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19), he concluded with a promise: “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28:20). In other words, the mission of Christ’s church is ongoing until the very end when he returns.
Integrating faith into daily life, therefore, is essential for becoming a contributing member of the body of Christ in this mission we’ve been given. Jesus asks, “Do you trust me with your life?” As our master and Disciple-Maker, he guides us to grow in Christian maturity, living less for self and more for him and others. Jesus is the ultimate disciple-maker, equipping us to make disciples. We strive to be more like Jesus by keeping him as our Disciple-Maker and trusting his Spirit to work through us in discipling others.
Join us this Sunday as Pastor Caleb Schmiege preaches from Ephesians 4:11-16 and helps us see what it looks like to “Live for Jesus.”

Faith5: Building strong families: Learn a simple but powerful framework that can help center your family around Christ. Find ways to connect with your family and deepen your understanding of each other. Improve the mental and spiritual health of your children and yourselves as parents! Participate in our next sessions of Faith5 with Divine Savior Church! You will join together, along with other parents, to learn how to implement this simple tool. DSYouth: Our first DSYouth session is Friday, September 6! If you’re a Middle School or High school student and you’re interested in growing as a disciple of Jesus alongside other Christians, DSYouth is for you! We study the Bible together, pray together, and talk about how we live as followers of Jesus in our world. We also enjoy games and snacks each time we meet. Our motto is “Disciples of Christ, Stronger Together. Join us from 6:00-8:00 pm! We’ll meet in the Worship Center. Please enter through the Ministry Center Reception, by 58th Street. Click here for the required Parent Consent and here for Student Registration. (You only need to do this once this year.) If you’re the parent of a Middle School or High School student, be a part of our parent group that also meets during this time to connect and grow! We hope to see you there!
