Dear Church Family,
“Live each day like it’s your last.” This advice may sound familiar and wise, urging you to make the most of your time. However, it’s actually a bit misguided. The truth is, through Jesus, we are granted endless time. Let that sink in. Jesus has bestowed upon you the gift of eternal life, meaning you will live forever. If you genuinely believed today was your last, that conviction would profoundly influence how you spent it. In this series, we’ll explore how the promise of eternal life impacts our daily lives. Live like you’ll live forever!
In the first week of our series, we’ll discuss how to become fearless witnesses for our Savior. Jesus warned that following Him would bring hardship and make us seem odd or even evil to the world. Sharing the message of sin and salvation can offend. So why not stay silent and keep our faith private? Because we are going to live forever. Out of gratitude for Christ saving us and giving us eternal life, we share the gospel, hoping others will believe and be saved too. Knowing we will live forever in heaven, we don’t fear the hardships or even death that may come from being witnesses for Christ.

Serving on the DSC Ambassador Team – We have an opportunity to represent Divine Savior Church at the upcoming DSA Open House on Wednesday, Nov 6. You can help us connect with families from our local community! We will offer coffee and water and look to have great conversations with parents to share info about our church family. Hurricane Relief – WELS Christian Aid and Relief. Many church members across our South Atlantic District and here in Florida have suffered significant damage to homes and property as a result of Hurricane Helene and now Hurricane Milton. WELS Christian Aid and Relief is in contact with all our district congregations and leaders coordinating efforts. This is a great way to help those impacted especially while first responders and linesmen are still hard at work assessing and helping in the immediate aftermath.

Pastor Ben Has a Call – To be the pastor of the Midtown church campus of CrossWalk Church in Phoenix. It’s an urban mission church setting. What does this mean? It’s an opportunity to listen, learn, pray, and ultimately decide where I think I can best glorify God and serve in His kingdom at this time.
