Dear Church Family,
Have you ever experienced that uncomfortable feeling that others are watching you, trying to find something to criticize? We don’t want others judging us. It is bad enough listening to the voice inside our own head, whispering that we aren’t worthy. How do we overcome the fear of judgment? It begins by realizing that there is only one person whose opinion ultimately matters—the Judge. Everyone is going to live forever in one of two very different places. Where you spend eternity depends on a judgment that Jesus will render. This week we see why his judgment need not trigger any sort of anxiety. Judgment day is something we can joyfully anticipate. We can live free from the fear of judgment.
Join us this Sunday at 9:30 am for worship as we head into week four of our series Live Like You’ll Live Forever! We’ll learn from Hebrews 9:24-28 how we can live free of the fear of God’s judgment because of the sacrifice our high priest, Jesus Christ, made. It’s going to be an awesome Sunday as we also welcome 3rd Graders from DSA to sing for us after the message.

DSYouth – Tonight (Friday, Nov 15) is the next DSYouth activity for families with middle school and high school students. Parents and teens, connect and grow with us from 6:00-8:00 pm! Birthday for Jesus: Don’t you love birthday parties? Come celebrate the birth of Jesus – the best birthday ever! We’ve created this free event designed just for families with children ages 3 through 5th grade. Parents, we want you to experience this event together with your children – especially at Christmas! Divine Savior Church values your family unit and wants to offer you opportunities to grow together. Grandparents are also welcome! Saturday, December 7. Check-in at 9:45am.
