Dear Church Family,
Imagine your perfect leader. What qualities make them exceptional, respected, and followed? Is it even possible to find such a leader? From the president of your local HOA to the President of the United States, many leaders have let us down. Do you feel disillusioned and doubtful about the promises made by leaders?
The season of Advent focuses on promises. Long ago, prophets and poets foresaw what was to come in history, into your heart, and at the end of the world. They used metaphors and illustrations to paint this picture. In this series, we will delve into Messianic Metaphors in the Old Testament. These metaphors might surprise you, but they reveal someone who is exactly what you need: an ideal leader, yes, but much more – your righteous Savior.

Register Your Family for Birthday for Jesus!: Don’t you love birthday parties? Come celebrate the birth of Jesus – the best birthday ever! We’ve created this free event designed just for families with children ages 3 through 5th grade. Parents, we want you to experience this event together with your children – especially at Christmas! Divine Savior Church values your family unit and wants to offer you opportunities to grow together. Grandparents are also welcome! Saturday, December 7. Check-in at 9:45am. Christian Funeral – In His love and wisdom that never fails, our gracious Lord called home this week the soul of our sister in Christ, Adele Kolomyski, after a long battle with cancer. We pray that the Lord comforts Walter, her husband, along with the whole Kolomyski extended family with the sure hope of eternal life through our Savior Jesus Christ. There will be a Christian funeral at our church on Sunday afternoon, December 15th. Visitation will start at 2 pm. The service will be at 3 pm.
