Dear Church Family,
When the leader is strong, the people are strong. When the leader is weak, fear and despair can overtake his followers, because there will always be enemies and adversity. Fear and despair can creep into our lives because of the challenges and unknowns we face too. However, God calls us to rejoice, shout aloud, and sing, because our leader is a mighty warrior! Jesus came as an infant, lowly and humble, but he was a warrior with the might to overcome our greatest enemies: sin, death, hell, and Satan. Since God has delighted in us by sending such a mighty warrior, we have nothing to fear. Instead, rejoice, shout, cheer, and sing for joy!
I can’t wait to share this message with you all this coming Sunday at 9:30 am based on a passage I’ve never preached on before from Zephaniah 3:14-17. As an added bonus, you can look forward to hearing our DSA High School Choir sing also. And not only this… but we will be welcoming 8 new members into our church family who have completed START and GROW Class. It’s going to be an awesome Sunday morning! I can’t wait to share it with you.
