Dear Church Family,
Have you ever noticed how much we avoid certain topics? Certain things can feel too raw, too messy, or just too uncomfortable. But Jesus never shied away from the tough stuff. He stepped into messy situations, answered hard questions, and brought hope where it seemed impossible. As we begin a new sermon series called Taboo, we’ll try and do the same—exploring challenging truths with grace, curiosity, and honesty. This series will take a look at topics Christians sometimes don’t often talk about, but should.
When we avoid these issues, the light of God’s truth can’t shine into them. But that’s why we’re excited about this series. We not only want to share what God’s Word has to say, we also want to give you the truth so you can speak with love and confidence when these topics come up in your home, in the neighborhood, or at work.
To see what we’ll be covering in this series, visit our website here. Scroll down to see the series plan. This Sunday we’ll begin with the topic of Authority: Who Gets the Final Say? The Saturday bilingual service will continue to have a different message based on a Bible story instead of following the sermon series.
