Dear Church Family,
How do Christians participate in the transgender conversation? How does God want Christians to feel about the topic, and more importantly, the people? Too often, the topic of transgenderism makes us think about ideologies, progressive societal trends, and angry debates. But what about people? How can we help people who struggle with transgender feelings? How does the gospel apply to this issue? God’s Word will be our guide as we see how God gives us hope amidst the brokenness of our bodies and minds.
Join us this Sunday morning at 9:30 am at church as Pastor Caleb helps bring God’s wisdom to bear on this topic that may seem taboo, but is so important for us to talk with truth and grace.

Faith5: Building strong families – Learn a simple but powerful framework that can help center your family around Christ. Find ways to connect with your family and deepen your understanding of each other. Improve the mental and spiritual health of your children and yourselves as parents! DSYouth Movie Night – All middle and high school DSYouth students and their parents are invited to join us on Friday, Jan 31 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm. We’ll talk about Christian discernment as a disciple of Christ and enjoy popcorn and a movie! Every Year It’s a New Story. Click here to join our DSC daily Bible reading group using the Bible App. This year’s new plan started January 16th, but it’s not too late to jump in right where we are! We’ll read through the entire Bible over the next year and it takes just 15 minutes a day. If you get behind, just jump back in whatever day we’re on!
New START Class Starting Sunday – What does the Bible teach? Participate in Pastor Ben’s START Class to learn the foundational teachings of our Lutheran Christian faith. Prepares you to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion at Divine Savior Church when you’re ready. Helps you know with certainty how Jesus has changed your life! Complete this brief form to let Pastor Ben you’d like to participate. New class will begin after church on this Sunday, February 2nd from 11:00-12:30. Childcare available if needed. Faith and Family NIght – Wednesdays 7:00-8:30 pm. Come for Bible Study led by Pastor Ben from 7:00-8:10, stay for Worship from 8:15-8:30 pm, or just come for Worship. Join us again this Wednesday! We’re studying Jesus’ “I AM” statements found in the gospel of John.
Serving on the DSC Ambassador Team – We have an opportunity to represent Divine Savior Church at the upcoming school event, Touch-a-Truck on Saturday, February 22. You can help us connect with families from our local community! We offer a coloring station for kids at our DSC tent and have great conversations with parents to share info about our church family.
