Dear Church Family,
Join us this Sunday as we kick off a new series for Lent called Ransom. We’ll explore the events leading up to Jesus’ crucifixion and burial. The gospel writers emphasized why the cross was necessary and what it achieved for us: the King of the Universe gave Himself as a ransom for a mocking world, transforming us into worshippers.
We were trapped in a mess we couldn’t escape—afraid of the cost, unwilling to pay it, and unable to find a way out. We thought we could handle it alone, but we couldn’t. Only Jesus could—and He did. He paid the price we couldn’t afford, wouldn’t choose, and didn’t realize we needed. One Savior, one sacrifice, one ransom—for everyone. That changes everything!

DSYouth – Tonight (Friday, March 7) is the next DSYouth activity for families with middle school and high school students. Parents and teens, connect and grow with us from 6:00-8:00 pm! We’ll have Bible study and prayer, refreshments and games. Our motto is “Disciples of Christ, Stronger Together.” Click here for the required Parent Consent and here for Student Registration. (You only need to do this once this year.) We hope to see you there!
Connect Group Interest – We have a goal to launch 10 new Connect Groups this year! Please share your input on this brief form to help us get started. What is a Connect Group? It’s a gathering of about 7-12 people that provides a place to connect with others, share life, and grow in faith together.
All Pro Dad – Any dads and their kids who are in Kindergarten through 6th grade can team up with other dads and kids at our school once a month for All Pro Dad! We meet before school from 7:00-8:00 AM in the high school commons for a free breakfast and a character based-curriculum that helps dads start meaningful conversations with their kids. RSVP on our chapter website for our monthly breakfast on March 13.
Join us for Rise Up with Jesus! – If you have children ages 3 through 5th grade, come and experience the excitement of the first Easter morning at Rise Up with Jesus on Saturday, April 5! Check-in at 9:45 am. Discover the joy of Jesus’ resurrection as you travel together through interactive stations, ending with a special butterfly release. Please click here to RSVP.
Help us welcome our community! – We have many volunteer opportunities for teens through adults! On Saturday, April 5 we will welcome families with young children to our event, Rise Up with Jesus. Contact Staff Minister Alex for more info or to let her know you are able to serve!
