Dear Church Family,
It’s often said that two things in life are certain—death and taxes. Taxes are due in just a few weeks, and many of us are already preparing for that. Yet while taxes are predictable, death is not. When it comes, we’ll stand before the ultimate Judge.
This might sound intimidating, but there’s hope. Jesus, the ultimate Judge, chose to be judged in our place. He took on what we deserved so we could be justified before God.
Because of Jesus, we have a new certainty: “Death, taxes, and justification!” Justification means being declared right with God, not by our actions, but by Jesus’ sacrifice.
As you consider life’s certainties, remember that Jesus made a way for us to face uncertainties with confidence and peace. He stood in our place so we can stand before God without fear. That’s the best certainty of all!

Volunteer for our Family Outreach Event! – We have many volunteer opportunities for teens through adults! On Saturday, April 5 we will welcome families with young children to our event, Rise Up with Jesus. Contact Staff Minister Alex for more info or to let her know you are able to serve!
Connect Group Interest – We have a goal to launch 10 new Connect Groups this year! Please share your input on this brief form to help us get started. What is a Connect Group? It’s a gathering of about 7-12 people that provides a place to connect with others, share life, and grow in faith together.
Help Us Welcome our Guests at Worship! – Each week we have several visitors join us in worship. What a blessing from God! We want everyone to feel welcome and have a positive experience with us so that we can connect them to Jesus and our church family.
