Dear Church Family,
We love to share the highlights of our lives—where we’ve been, what we’ve accomplished, the experiences that brought us joy. Whether it’s a trip we took, a goal we reached, or a moment that made us proud, these stories naturally spill out of us. And rightly so—God gives us good gifts to enjoy and share.
But if we’re honest, sometimes our sharing can become a subtle competition. Who’s done the most? Seen the most? Achieved the most? And even the best of those moments—while meaningful—can only bring joy for so long.
This weekend, we’re turning our attention to a joy that doesn’t fade. A joy not rooted in what we’ve done, but in what has been done for us. A joy that doesn’t depend on our performance, but on God’s grace. A joy so deep, so lasting, so life-changing, it’s unspeakable joy.
When we know this joy—when we believe it, celebrate it, and live in it—it changes everything.
Join us this weekend at church as we explore the source of that joy and why it’s greater than anything we could ever accomplish on our own. We can’t wait to worship with you whether Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday at 9:30 am.

New START Classes Sundays In-Person Or Thursday evenings online! – What does the Bible teach? Participate in Pastor Ben’s START Class to learn the foundational teachings of our Lutheran Christian faith. Prepares you to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion at Divine Savior Church when you’re ready. Helps you know with certainty how Jesus has changed your life! Complete this brief registration form to let Pastor Ben know you’d like to participate and which class you want to be a part of. New in-person class continues after church this Sunday, May 25th from 11:00-12:30. Childcare available if needed. Or you can choose to take the class online Thursday evenings from 7:00-8:30 pm continuing this May 29th. It’s not too late to join!
GROW Class Continues Sunday – For those who’ve completed START Class and are ready to take their next step.
Camp South – Every year, Divine Savior Church takes a group of youth to Camp South, a Bible Camp for youth entering 5th-8th grades. We will also take 9th graders who are in our DSC confirmation class. Kids get to study God’s Word, develop Christian friendships, and grow in their faith. Camp South takes place in Covington, Georgia from July 21-25th, 2025. Check out the 2024 Camp South video here to see what camp is like. Registration for Camp South is open, but space is limited! Find all the info and registration link on the Divine Savior Church app home page. We also need chaperones for Camp South. All travel and registration costs for chaperones are covered, and it’s a lot of fun! Any questions? Talk to Pastor Caleb.
Update your Info – Once a year we ask that you take a minute to update your contact information and profile in our system (MyDSC). This is our database and is different from the DSC App. Click here to log in. Please upload a current photo of yourself to better help our ministry staff and check the following: mailing address, email contact, phone number, birthday and anniversary (if applicable). When you are finished, let Staff Minister Becky know – she has a small gift for you for helping us manage our ministry better! Congregational Annual Meeting Sunday June 1 – We want everyone in our church family to be informed in the ministry we carry out together as Divine Savior Church. Our Annual Meeting to review the ministry plans and proposals of our Church Council for the approaching new fiscal year and vote on them is Sunday, June 1st after each worship service. All are invited to attend.

Summer Worship Schedule Due to summer travel schedules and limited staff/volunteer resources, we will be pausing the Saturday bilingual worship service. It will resume again in August. Worship services on Sunday morning will continue as normal in English at 9:30 am and Spanish at 11:30 am.
