A New Message Series For When Things Feel Far From Normal!

Dear Church Family,

Have you ever wondered why you are where you are? And wherever that is, does it sometimes seem that God is far away? Daniel and his friends could have felt like that. They were far away from their home. Exiles in a foreign country. They were definitely facing a “new normal.” But God always puts His people right where He wants them. He is accomplishing His purpose through us. Daniel knew that. He had the courage and the joy to be who God wanted Him to be—despite the circumstance and battle in front of him. Can we do the same?
Join me this weekend as we begin a timely, relevant new series called “There’s Another in the Fire” as we study our way through the Bible book of Daniel.

To watch live simply CLICK HERE. Worship times are back to our regular Saturday at 5:00 pm or Sunday at 9:30 am. I pray you see this unprecedented season as an opportunity to share a personal invitation to “virtually sit” with someone for online church from their comfort of their home!

Follow our church on Facebook or Instagram also for daily content and easy ways to share our online worship opportunities with others.

ICYMI: Watch our Easter service recorded here on our YouTube channel. Subscribe to our channel to receive more hope, more peace, more Jesus in your life!

Virtual Fellowship: This Sunday following the 9:30 am service I will open a “zoom room” for anyone who wants to try and experience some virtual fellowship seeing one another’s faces. I will share a link in the online chat feature toward the end of the service. If you’ve never connected in a zoom room before, please see the attached pdf. If we get more than 15 people in the zoom room I will try putting us in smaller, random breakout rooms. If anyone would like to be a host of a breakout room, please send me a quick email to let me know. We’ll give this a shot this Sunday and see how it goes! Over the next couple weeks I will also be exploring an online Bible study or Connect Group. Stay tuned…

Weekly Offerings: Maundy Thursday/Good Friday/Easter: $11,941.50

I continue to rejoice, friends, at your generosity in supporting our gospel ministry! Many of you have made the effort to switch to online giving which has been a TREMENDOUS blessing for us during this time. The result of your consistently generous giving in the ten weeks leading up to Easter since our Test Me! series has been inspiring to me. Thank you! It gives me confidence that we are going to be able to keep moving forward with our ministry plans whenever our country begins to open back up after this crisis. In the meantime I continue to pray for you all and ask that you would also keep your eyes and ears open for opportunities to show the love of Jesus and help people in need. If you’ve been blessed to receive a government stimulus check and don’t immediately need it, what are some ways you might prayerfully use it to bless others in Jesus’ name?

Did You Know? Giving online is easy to do either by clicking the “Give” tab while logged into MyDSC | by clicking on “Give” on our website: www.divinesaviorchurch.com | or by clicking “Give” while watching live on our church online platform || If you prefer to give via your regular offering envelopes or to mail a check, you can send them to Divine Savior Church at 10311 NW 58th St, Doral, FL 33178
